the EVOKE Sessions
"Evoke" originates from the 17th-century French word évoquer or directly from the Latin ēvocāre ("to call out, summon, or rouse"). It combines the prefix ex- ("out") with vocāre ("to call"), which is derived from vox ("voice"), rooted in the Proto-Indo-European (PIE) *wekw- ("to speak").
Meaning: The literal sense is to "call forth" or "summon," often used in the context of summoning spirits, and later, evoking memories or feelings.

by setting them free, we set ourselves free.
We are summoning from the depths, THAT which is begging to be summoned. EVOKING our deepest truth. Together.
playing this stage is mine. and by learning to call forward this dream from within, i have watched it blossom into life.
this is a container to bring words to the feelings inside of us. to delight in the poetry and the magic of what it means to be human.
the agony and ecstasy of being alive.
and maybe this helps with a creative outlet. but it doesn’t need to be the goal .
you don’t have to do anything with the words you find, but my god i’m telling you there are there some feelings inside of you that are dying to be heard.
this is a permission slip to bring words to it all.
there is a magical thing that happens when we invite each other’s truths out.
when we celebrate them. and share in each others dreams.

WHO AM I?
For the last 6 years I have ripped my heart open and dived into the depths of my soul. Pulling out all the dreams that live inside of me.
That process saved my life. Learning how to create from my pain, not only saved my life, but nourished me beyond everything that is holy.
I have been heartbroken too many times to count. And I have turned all that pain into a life that is magical beyond belief. I feel it all. Agony and ecstasy in equal measure. There is no pain I run from anymore. It is is all fuel for the creative fire that lives and breathes like the dragon she is.
I build businesses. I make music. I know everyone you need to know when it comes to making dreams a reality.
But most of all, I believe in people.
I believe in the fire that lives inside every one of us.
And I believe it is our DUTY to pay attention to what it is trying to tell us.
I don’t know your story. But I know mine. And it became the medicine I so desperately needed.
We are our own medicine. I believe that with every cell of my being. AND, we are not supposed to do any of this alone.
The amount of healing I found through friendships, relationships, teachers, community spaces where I have hurled Kali rage and cracked the widest grief into the abyss, where I was given the permission slip to find what was in me all along… I couldn’t have done this alone.
The age of the guru is dead. I hate pedestals. This is a collective experience we are riding. Where we are all each other’s teachers.
